Shirley has had various careers in her life but by the time she reached her fifties she became very dissatisfied with the "rat race" so gave up an extremely good salary and went to work with the elderly and through many of them receiving so much pleasure from the simple things like having their feet washed and brushing their hair she became interested in alternative therapies. The act of touch in itself is a great healer. Shirley can either treat you in the privacy of your own home, which can be very beneficial as Reiki, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage all leave you feeling very relaxed. Or, alternatively you can visit her at her therapy room at Cliff House, Charmouth (subject to availability). Shirley can also arrange Pamper Parties for groups of up to 6 people, please feel free to contact her and discuss your requirements.

About the treatments. Reiki activates the body's ability to heal itself by allowing a person's chi or life energy to flow freely. Healing energy is passed through my hands and you will feel the warmth and gentle touch. Indian Head Massage helps to relieve accumulated tensions. It has been shown to help or alleviate RSI. Especially helpful with children. Aids concentration, calms them down before exams and is very good for children with behavioural problems. Reflexology balances the whole body and boosts the immune system. Having a Reflexology session is the most relaxing way to spend an hour, plus it is so good for the whole body. It has a cumulative benefit. By having Reiki, Reflexology or Indian Head Massage on a regular basis, you will feel so much better and more able to cope with everyday stresses. It is not always immediately obvious that there are improvements, but over time you may realise that perhaps you haven't had so many aches and pains or your headaches have gone, or you are coping with problems much better.

Charges per Session: Reflexology: £25.00 Reiki: £20.00 Indian Head Massage: £20.00 Book and pay for 5 sessions and you will receive a 6th session free.

An initial consultation is always carried out for which there is no extra charge. A travelling distance of 10 mile radius of Charmouth is included in the cost of a treatment, but for any further distance a small charge for travelling costs will be added (to be discussed at initial contact) All information given by clients is treated with the utmost confidentiality.
